You must do the thing you think you cannot do

I got this for my twenty-second birthday in early October. As a kid, (and now in semi-adulthood) I loved Roald Dahl books, and Quentin Blake’s illustrations are absolutely charming. I wanted to get the kitchen whisk they are used to beat things, to overcome.

I went alone to get my tattoo, and was quite nervous, but right before I needed to sit in the chair a Living Colour song came on, a little comfort jam from the universe I suppose.

  1. As a tattoo enthusiast and an Alia enthusiast, I just wanted to tell you that it’s lovely. A lovely sentiment on a lovely girl.

What a great gift you’ve given yourself!
